| Brief History | Established in 1974, BCF is a non-profit ministry founded as a labor of love. From the very beginning, the BCF founders recognized that they were called to be a training resource to churches but not to establish BCF branches or offices that compete with local church ministries. |
Discipleship / counseling training should be conducted under the loving authority and leadership of the local body of believers (Ephesians 4:11-12). In turn, those who are faithful to the Lord are to be trained to help others (Galatians 6:1-5; II Timothy 2:2).
